Nikka Garcia thought of a maternity photo session a few weeks before she gave birth to emphasize the unity of a mom and her baby. One of the sets for the shoot was ballerina-inspired, complete with a cake, some sweets, plus everything pink (and nice). The spread included cupcakes with gold crowns, strawberry milk in decorated bottles, sugar cookies shaped as ballet shoes, marshmallows, and pretzels. Did you notice those cute ballerina cookies too? Garbed in tutus, her two older daughters posed for pictures as well. Nikka’s husband, Patrick, joined in for some family portraits to be cherished for posterity.
