Family and friends trooped to Multinational Village Clubhouse in Parañaque to celebrate Becky Pascual’s 70th birthday. Veluz Reyes created for her a white shift dress with acrylic beads in lilac, sky blue, and pistachio green. Madge Lejano whipped her magic to make the celebrator look radiant and ravishing. Karitela of K. by Cunanan provided a selection of meats and cheeses for cocktails. Mixed seafood pasta, tomatoes and capers, baked fish in cream on a bed of mashed potatoes and slivered almonds, and slow-cooked Angus short ribs with truffles, ponzu butter, and onion rings were served during dinner. Artisenal ice cream by K. by Cunanan Catering was offered to guests. Flavors included milk ice cream with lengua de gato and green mango sorbet with bagoong.
