Realizing the importance of recognizing the invaluable contributions of sales agents to the company’s growth, Sun Life Financial holds an Excellence Awards Night annually. Attended by more than 1,000 hardworking financial and insurance agents, the 29th edition acknowledged the year’s top sales performers.

Garbed in their finest, the agents had fun posing against the backdrop of five different set-ups strategically placed in the foyer of Manila Marriott Hotel. Guests also relished the free-flowing drinks and cocktail food. Inside the ballroom, guests were greeted with lively music and escorted to their tables decked in black linens and accentuated with white blooms in gold vessels.

The gastronomic delights served by Marriott included seared crab cake with red cabbage slaw and pimiento aioli; potato cheddar with Hungarian sausage and peppers; beef tenderloin; prawns with duchess potato, honey-glazed pumpkin, shaved cauliflower, organic cherry tomato, and pink peppercorn sauce. Dessert was baked lemon tart, a combination of crispy meringue, yoghurt ice cream, and caramel coulis.
